Local Authors Night featuring O’Kane, Jarvis, McGinnis, and Lampi

Tuesday, July 26, 2011 - 7:00pm

Bookshop Santa Cruz is a proud supporter of local and independently published authors and we are pleased to celebrate their works with our Local Authors Night series. Please join us for our next evening of book discussion, signing, and Q&A with four local writers.

Elizabeth O’Kane
Blunderland

Elizabeth O’Kane is a long-time Los Gatos resident and an SJSU Alum. She has both traveled and lived internationally, but her imagination has ventured outward much further than that. Blunderland is Ms. O’Kane’s first novel, a contemporary fantasy with a liberal dusting of suspense. Niteblade Horror and Fantasy Magazine calls Bunderland, “A bizarre and dizzying fall through the proverbial rabbit hole … that will pleasantly surprise fantasy and supernatural fans alike.”

Nancy Jarvis
The Widow's Walk League

Nancy Lynn Jarvis was a Santa Cruz Realtor® for more than twenty years, but she says writing is so much fun that she has officially retired from being an active agent. After earning a BA in behavioral science from San Jose State University, she worked in the advertising department of the San Jose Mercury News, as a librarian—primarily at the Porter Memorial Library in Soquel—and later a stint as the business manager for Shakespeare Santa Cruz. Writing is her latest adventure.
