Casey is the second-generation owner of Bookshop Santa Cruz. Her earliest memory is riding the rocking horse in the kids section when the store was located across the street. When not reading Harry Potter with her two kids, she is an avid reader of new works of fiction, history and politics and loves to read with her book group.
Eleanor is a red-headed girl from a tough home. Park is a half-Asian kid who repels attention. Against all odds, they fall in love. Rowell’s book is sweet, funny, intense and emotional in all the best ways. As John Green wrote, "Eleanor & Park reminded me not just what it's like to be young and in love with a girl, but also what it's like to be young and in love with a book."
