Dr. Guy Standard was born on a farm near Trinidad, Colorado, he left without graduating from high school, served four years in the military as a medic, read a great deal during his enlistment, was admitted "on probation" to UCLA and earned a B.A. in Philosophy, and a Ph.D. in English. He writes novels, plays, poems and songs.
