About the Author


The author has a bachelor’s degree in Portuguese and Spanish and a Certificate in Human Resources Management, both from the University of California, Irvine. She has immersed herself in the study of end-of-life care since 1991, and received advance level certification in Chi Nei Tsang (CNT) in 2002. She has worked as a translator and interpreter for Spanish and Portuguese and has written chapters and articles about end-of-life care and CNT in English and Portuguese.
