Ready Player One is a highly engrossing and entertaining tale that leaves you with goose bumps and a feel good smile.

This book is a veritable "nerdacopia" of references and nostalgia. If you've ever played a video game or an RPG or were even vaguely conscious of the 80s--then this is the book for you.

Crazy good and so satisfying in that 80s movie way, Ready Player One's plot has a little bit of everything. The misunderstood loner transcends his dismal surroundings, embarks on an epic quest, and--using his own specialized brilliance--has a chance to save the world and get the girl.

I had a hard time putting it down this this fast paced SciFi novel, and I don't usually read the genre or play video games.

A great read, especially if you grew up during the 70's and 80's. It's like going on the Disneyland Jungle Boat Tour of 80's Land in the future. Most impressively, Cline came up with an actual reason in the story to call out all his favorite songs and video games from when he was growing up. Then found a way to get you to admire the kid who can get the high score on Ms. PacMan. Whoa. Faced paced adventure into all your past obsessions. 3 lives for a quarter.
