One of my favorite cookbooks in years! Rosenstrach (who writes the Dinner: A Love Story blog) knows good food and loves good food, but is also a very busy working mom. Her cookbook is one of the few I’ve read (and used) that really gets how hard it can be to get a good dinner on the table every single night. Her recipes are not daunting, but they are delicious (the Yogurt Marinated Chicken is life-altering) and her time-saving tips are fantastic. What I also love is that she’s a smart and funny writer (plus she’s super into books) so reading this is an absolute pleasure. She’s a huge advocate for family dinners, makes crowd-pleasing dishes, and likes a cocktail in the evening: In other words, she’s fantastic. Get this book!
