When I first heard about this series a few years ago I was really excited about the project, and the books that followed haven’t let me down. This book is the second volume in former MLB commissioner Fay Vincent’s series that started with The Only Game In Town. The goal of the series is to contribute to a history of baseball as told by the players who lived it.
