Young Writers Contest Honorees 2010

Bookshop Santa Cruz established the Young Writers Contest in 2010 to highlight talented young people in our community who enjoy writing and storytelling. With over 200 entries, Bookshop Santa Cruz staff narrowed down the entries to a set of finalists which were then judged by children’s book author and Newbery Medalist Paul Fleischman. Bookshop Santa Cruz is proud to showcase their work in this printed edition. Young writers, ages 6 and up, can submit their work for our 2011 Young Writers Contest beginning May 20, 2011.
