Photography Contest
19th ANNUAL BOOKSHOP SANTA CRUZ PHOTOGRAPHY CONTEST
The Reader Photographed
Bookshop Santa Cruz is once again sponsoring a photography contest on the theme of readers, books, and reading. A gift certificate in the amount of $250 will be presented to the winner of the contest. Second- and third-place gift certificates will also be awarded. The winning photographs will be displayed at Bookshop Santa Cruz and on our website.
DEADLINE: September 1, 2013
ENTRY RULES
Theme
Photographs must depict individuals or groups of readers, books or some image related to the act of reading.
Eligibility
You may only submit your own photograph. You may submit as many photographs as you wish. All entrants must agree that their photograph can be exhibited at Bookshop Santa Cruz and reproduced in our newsletter. The photographer’s name will be included with any use of the photograph.
Entry Forms
Each individual entry must have a copy of the entry form taped to the back of the entry.
Prizes
Three prizes will be awarded. First prize will be a $250 Gift Certificate for Bookshop Santa Cruz. Second prize will be a $100 Gift Certificate and Third prize will be a $50 Gift Certificate.
Entry Deadline and Judging
All entries must be received no later than September 1, 2013. Final judging will take place by October 15, 2013.
