50th year writing poetry. He has been a Lecturer in Writing at Crown College, UCSC for 27 years.
Active in local politics, he has served on the Santa Cruz City Council for 8 years and as Mayor from 2000 to 2001.

Prize-winning poet Bert Glick,
poet, playwright and actor, author of Cookie Aura and I Used To Be Me, has been featured in many venues
across California and the country and most recently created a poetry animation DVD of five of his poems

Joanna Martin is the author of
The Meaning of Wings (Hummingbird Press, 2003). Her poetry has appeared in Porter Gulch Review and
she is a recipient of the Mary Lonnberg Smith Poetry Award. For the last four years she has been the producer
of Poetry Box on Santa Cruz Community Television, filming poets and poetry events throughout the county.
She works as a nurse in Cardiac Care at Dominican Hospital.
Marilyn Robertson has had an early morning
writing practice for over a dozen years and her poems have appeared in a number of journals, including
Rattle and Rhino. Making poems is her work of choice but she is often a gardener,
sometimes and artist, occasionally a baker of pies. She is also a former songwriter and Spectra Artist
and one of the founders of the Felton Library Friends Spring Poetry Reading
