An Evening of Love, Gratitude, and Writing with Patrice Vecchione
This I Believe: On Love (edited by Dan Gediman) is a collection of inspiring essays on love shared by men, women, and young people from all walks of life. This book brings together essays on love from ordinary people far and wide whose sentiments and stories will surprise, inspire, and move you. The narratives speak to love in all its permutations, from romantic love, to familial love, to love of place, and love of animals. There are essays about lost love and love gone badly.
Anthology contributor, local author, and teacher Patrice Vecchione will read from her essay in the book as well as invite us to personally participate in an evening of gratitude and writing. As we approach the winter holidays and begin to take notice of what we're thankful for, come channel your own gratitude into poem or story as Patrice helps lead participants to their own words.
