Cynthia Spivey, How to Eat Paleo
Bookshop Santa Cruz welcomes Cynthia Spivey as she discusses her new book, How to Eat Paleo. This unique, illustrated guide to Paleo was written to educate those interested in achieving wellness through food. Covering Paleo basics in understandable language with whimsical illustrations, the book will inform, engage and inspire.
Spivey travels, eats and talks to people who will listen about her adventures with Paleo. She graduated from the University of California, Santa Barbara, with a degree in Communications & Media, which proved useful during her corporate writing career in New York City in the 1980s. She altered her career path to raise three children—born from her own womb in three different countries—while learning about cooking, nutrition and cultural foods. Based in Santa Barbara, California, her favorite Paleo treat is wine.
A brief, useful primer with enough provocative food for thought for newcomers and veterans alike. --KIRKUS REVIEW
