Community Book Group with Garth Stein

Bookshop has selected The Art of Racing in the Rain,
one of our very favorite books of the past year, as our next Community
Book Group selection. A heart-wrenching but deeply funny and ultimately
uplifting story of family, love, loyalty, and hope, this book is a
beautifully crafted and captivating look at the wonders and absurdities of human life . . . as only a dog could tell it!
We invite the community to read The Art of Racing in the Rain, and then join us on Thursday, September 24th at 7:30pm for a group discussion facilitated by Julie Minnis. Bestselling author Garth Stein will join us at
8:00pm to further discuss his book, as well as answer questions. This
is sure to be a wonderful night.
