Read more about the Santa Cruz Warriors' efforts to encourage kids through their Read to Achieve program:
"We are partnering with the Santa Cruz City School District to help develop a life-long love of reading and literacy in every elementary and middle school child in the district. Last year we helped encourage students to read more than 464 million words during the seven-week program.
Read to Achieve is the most extensive educational outreach initiative in the history of professional sports. By providing rescources, the NBA continues to aid schools, libraries, and community-based organizations so that children have the necessary tools to succeed in life."
