Celebrating her new memoir When Nobody Was Watching

Bookshop Santa Cruz is delighted to welcome the best female soccer player in the world! Carli Lloyd will give a brief talk about her new memoir, When Nobody Was Watching, an inspiring and candid memoir that take readers inside the women's national team and inside the head of an athlete who willed herself to perform at the highest levels of competition. Lloyd will then meet fans and will pose for a photo with each attendee or family. Receive a signed copy of When Nobody Was Watching with every ticket package purchased.
Carli Lloyd is captain of the U.S. Women's Soccer Team, and is a two-time Olympic gold medalist, FIFA Women's World Cup champion, and 2015 FIFA World Player of the Year.
This event will take place at the Kaiser Permanente Arena, 140 Front St., Downtown Santa Cruz. Doors to the arena will open at 5:40. The book talk will begin promptly at 6:00.
TICKET PACKAGES: Ticket packages are $28.28, include an autographed copy of When Nobody Was Watching and admit two people to the arena for a chance to meet Carli Lloyd and to pose for a photograph with the celebrated star of the U.S. Women's National Soccer Team. When you purchase a ticket package you can also buy up to two additional child tickets to the event for $3 each for children (18 & under) within your family to attend with you. The proceeds from additional child ticket will be used to buy copies of When Nobody Was Watching for schools. Additional tickets are only available once a ticket package is purchased and only at the time of purchasing the ticket package.
Ticket packages will include a voucher redeemable at the event for for one autographed copy of When Nobody Was Watching. Books won't be available prior to the event because they will not be signed until the day of the event. Due to time constraints Carli Lloyd will not personalize books or sign merchandise.
