The Capitola Book Company is a small, independent press located in Capitola, California. Capitola is a small community located on Monterey Bay east of Santa Cruz. The Capitola Book Company is an outgrowth of the Ow family businesses that moved from Monterey to Capitola in the early 1960s. They focus on publishing books that reflect the cultural and ethnic diversity of the Monterey Bay Region.
